Fundraiser For Harris Campaign Says She Was ‘Misled’ By Top Officials: ‘Epic Disaster’

A surrogate for Kamala Harris’ campaign said on Fox & Friends Weekend that she felt “misled” by top officials, calling Harris’ bid an “epic disaster” and a “one-billion-dollar disaster.” Lindy Li, who raised millions for Harris, told co-host Will Cain that campaign insiders promised victory over Trump, citing internal data that ultimately proved false.

Li explained that Harris’ campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, reassured surrogates the vice president would win, leading her and others to contribute significant funds. “I feel like a lot of us were misled,” Li said.

Li also shared details of tension within the Biden-Harris camp, claiming there was a lot of “backstabbing” and leaks. “The White House was leaking like a sieve when it came to Kamala Harris,” she said, adding that Biden’s endorsement of Harris in 2024 was likely a response to party pressures.

“The endorsement caught a lot of people off guard,” Li concluded, hinting at ongoing friction between the two factions.
