With heavy hearts, we announce the passing. When you find out who she is, you will cry

The parents of three-year-old Ryleigh Hillcoat-Bee are heartbroken after learning their daughter’s life could have been saved. Ryleigh tragically died from complications of rhabdomyolysis, a rare condition that breaks down muscle tissue and affects just one in 200,000 people in the UK.

A coroner’s investigation revealed that doctors missed crucial warning signs before releasing Ryleigh from the hospital after a five-day stay. Her blood tests showed dangerously high levels of Creatine Kinase, a clear indicator of a neuromuscular issue. However, despite these alarming results, doctors mistakenly diagnosed her with a chest infection or hepatitis.

Ryleigh’s parents are now left grieving, devastated by the loss of their daughter—and the fact that her death could have been prevented with proper diagnosis and care.
