Man Rescued a Trapped Crying Wild Horse. How It Thanked Him is Unbelievable

In a heartwarming rescue near Calgary, a group of Good Samaritans came to the aid of a distressed horse trapped in a treacherous marsh. The mare, part of a new herd in the area, had wandered off during heavy rainfall and found herself stuck in the muddy quagmire.

Darla Connelly, who was overseeing the herd, feared the unfamiliar terrain might cause problems, and her worst fears came true when the two-year-old mare became trapped.

When the distress signals were spotted, volunteers from the Help Alberta Wildlife Society rushed to the scene with ATVs and rescue gear. The horse was struggling to stay afloat, facing the real threat of sinking deeper into the mud.
