An Old Man Tries to Prove His Wife’s Hearing Problem
An elderly man noticed that his wife was having trouble hearing.
He tried convincing her to take a hearing test, but she refused.
Determined to prove something was wrong with her hearing, he decided to show her.
He went upstairs, took out a recorder, turned it on, and shouted from upstairs, knowing she was in the kitchen. “Honey, what’s for dinner?”
There was no response.
He went downstairs and yelled again. “Honey, what’s for dinner?” Still no answer.
He walked into the living room and shouted, “Honey, what’s for dinner?”
Nothing.
Finally, he stood right outside the kitchen and yelled, “What’s for dinner?” Still, no reply.
Then he stood directly behind her and asked, “Honey, what’s for dinner?!”
She turned around and snapped, “For the hundredth time, CHARLES, IT’S CHICKEN!”
