President Donald Trump has nominated Sean Curran, head of his personal Secret Service detail, to be the next director of the U.S. Secret Service. Curran, who gained recognition for his quick response during an assassination attempt on Trump in July, was already expected for the role. Trump praised Curran in a Truth Social post, calling him a “Great Patriot” and a “brilliant leader” with the experience to lead the agency.
Trump also announced the nomination of Andrew F. Puzder as U.S. ambassador to the European Union. Puzder, former CEO of CKE Restaurants (owner of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s), was credited with turning around the company and securing its future.
Additionally, Trump appointed conservative author L. Brent Bozell III to head the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), emphasizing Bozell’s deep knowledge of global media and his long history of advocating for American values.
These nominations reflect Trump’s focus on strong leadership and principles to address the challenges facing the U.S. and the world.
