Megan, a high school choir director from California, was solving a bonus puzzle in the “Living Thing” category. The partial phrase “_ N’R _ _ ” appeared as she made her guess. After picking letters, it changed to “P_N’ RC _ D.”
With just seconds left, Megan guessed “Pink Orchid” — and when the timer went off, the correct letters lit up. Despite this, she was visibly frustrated when her answer wasn’t accepted, leaving viewers questioning the decision.
