I Arrived at My Wedding an Hour Early and Was S.h.0cked to Find Out That My Sister Was Getting Married Too

I took a deep breath and told him what Jessica had done. Ben’s eyes widened in shock. “I had no idea,” he said, his voice filled with horror. “I would never have agreed to this if I knew how much it would hurt you, Gina.”

I looked at Ben, my eyes filled with tears. “Please, Ben,” I said. “Call this off. This is my wedding, my dream. I can’t let Jessica steal it from me.”

Ben looked at me, then at Leo. He took a deep breath and nodded. “You’re right, Gina. This is your day. I’ll talk to Jessica, and we’ll figure something out.”

With that, Ben walked into the venue, leaving Leo and me alone in the parking lot. I leaned against Leo, feeling exhausted. “Thank you,” I said, my voice barely a whisper.

Leo kissed the top of my head. “Don’t thank me, Gina. You’re my fiancée, and I love you. I would do anything to make you happy.”

A few minutes later, Ben came out of the venue, a relieved look on his face. “It’s done,” he said. “Jessica understands that what she did was wrong, and she’s willing to call off the wedding.”

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. “Thank you, Ben,” I said, my voice filled with gratitude.

Ben smiled at me. “You’re welcome, Gina. I’m sorry that this happened. I hope that you and Leo have a beautiful wedding.”

And with that, Ben got back in his car and drove away. Leo and I looked at each other, then we both started to laugh. It was a nervous laugh, a laugh of relief, but it was also a laugh of happiness. Because in the end, our wedding was still going to happen, and it was going to be perfect.

We walked into the venue, hand in hand. The guests were still there, looking confused. But when they saw us, they started to cheer. I looked around at the faces of our friends and family, and I felt a sense of warmth and love wash over me.

Leo and I walked down the aisle, our eyes locked on each other. When we reached the altar, we turned and faced each other. The minister smiled at us and began the ceremony.

As I looked into Leo’s eyes, I knew that this was where I was meant to be. This was my happily ever after, and nothing, not even my sister’s betrayal, could ruin it.

The ceremony was beautiful. Leo and I exchanged our vows, and we sealed them with a kiss. The guests cheered and clapped, and I felt like I was floating on air.

After the ceremony, we had a reception. There was food, there was dancing, there was laughter. It was everything that I had ever dreamed of, and more.

As I danced with Leo, I looked around at the room. I saw my parents, their faces filled with pride. I saw my friends, their eyes filled with happiness. And I saw Jessica, standing in the corner, looking sad.

I knew that what Jessica had done was wrong, but I also knew that she was my sister. And in the end, I couldn’t stay angry with her. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. “I love you, Jessica,” I said. “And I forgive you.”

Jessica looked at me, her eyes filled with tears. “Thank you, Gina,” she said. “I’m so sorry.”

I smiled at her. “It’s okay, Jessica. Let’s just forget about it and move on.”

And with that, we both walked back to the dance floor, and we danced the night away. Because in the end, that’s what family is for. To love, to forgive, and to support each other, no matter what.
