JOKE OF THE DAY:The Misguided GPS

George and his wife, Martha, decided to take a road trip across the state to visit their grandchildren. George, a bit old – fashioned, had finally agreed to use a GPS for the journey, much to Martha’s relief.

As they set off, the GPS’s robotic voice chirped, “Turn left in 500 feet.” George obediently followed the instruction. But a few minutes later, the voice said, “Recalculating… turn right immediately.” George swerved, nearly causing a fender – bender with a pickup truck. The driver of the truck honked and gave them a look.

Martha nervously said, “George, maybe we should have stuck to the map.” But George, determined to make the GPS work, replied, “Nonsense, Martha. This thing is supposed to be smarter than us.”
