My grandma taught me to add this to the water. You know, even if you don’t clean the floor for a whole week, it’ll remain clean and dust-free.

A few days ago, I received a valuable tip from a cleaning lady with over 30 years of experience. She shared a unique floor – cleaning method with me. When you clean the floor in this particular way, not only will it be spotless, but it will also be far less likely to attract dust.

Numerous people often grumble that soon after cleaning, the floor is quickly covered in dust and gives off an unpleasant smell. This is especially true in summer. If the floor isn’t cleaned correctly, each room will develop an unappealing stench, which is truly off – putting.

I stumbled upon this wonderful floor – cleaning technique recently. As I mentioned, a cleaning professional with more than three decades of experience taught me this little secret. Using this method, you can achieve an extremely clean floor that resists dust accumulation.

Before commencing the floor – cleaning process, the initial step is to sweep the floor. After all, if the house is in a messy state, it’s incredibly difficult to clean it comprehensively.

Then, add these items to the basin or bucket of water for floor cleaning:

  • Put a small amount of salt in the water. Salt can make the floor dry quickly and also serves as a disinfectant and sterilizer.
  • Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. You know, dishwashing liquid has a strong oil-removing ability. If there’s cooking oil or food spilled on the floor, the dishwashing liquid will remove these grease stains and make the floor cleaner.
  • Pour a little white vinegar or lemon juice into the bucket of water. It has the effect of softening the stains, making it easier to clean the floor and resulting in a cleaner floor.
  • Pour a little alcohol for disinfection and sterilization. This way, the floor won’t be prone to mold growth.
  • Add a little baking soda. This powder has a very strong disinfecting ability and can easily remove stains on the floor.

The most crucial thing is to add a little fabric softener to the bucket of floor-cleaning water. In summer, the floor is relatively dry and prone to static electricity.

As long as the floor has static, all the stains and dirt on the ground will easily stick to it. But by adding fabric softener, it can prevent static electricity and keep dust and stains from adhering to the floor.

After putting everything in the mop bucket, stir well to dissolve all the ingredients. Once well-stirred, put the mop in the bucket of water and mop the floor as usual.
