Photo of Jill Biden, Kamala Harris Goes Viral Amid Reports of Tension

“There are millions of people in the United States. Why do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe?” Jill Biden reportedly said after learning Harris was the front-runner.

But some on Biden’s team, including Chief of Staff Ron Klain, supported Harris’ selection. Klain argued that picking Harris, despite her harsh criticism of Biden, would demonstrate magnanimity and show the country what a unifying leader Biden could be.

The tension between Biden and Harris was also apparent during a recent public moment. CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out the cool greeting between Biden, Harris, and their spouses at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral, noting the lack of eye contact or handshakes.

“It wasn’t particularly warm,” Tapper observed, adding that while it was a somber event, the body language didn’t suggest a close relationship.

As Biden’s presidency draws to a close, the dynamics between the key figures in the administration continue to spark conversation, with some pointing to subtle signs of discord behind the scenes.
