Things in My House Started Moving, Even Though I Live Alone — I Installed a Security Camera and Checked the Recordings One Day

I couldn’t sleep. I lay awake at night, straining to hear any sound that might explain the strange occurrences. But the nights were eerily quiet.

I knew I needed proof, so I set up a security camera system around the house. I installed two cameras in the living room, one in the kitchen, another in the hallway leading to the bedrooms, and one in my bedroom.

They were simple, affordable devices, but I was desperate to get to the bottom of this. Little did I know, the truth would be much darker than I imagined.

For the first few days, nothing unusual appeared in the footage. No movement, no shadows — just empty rooms and the stray cat that occasionally wandered through.

But on the fifth day, I found something that made my blood run cold.

I was watching the living room footage when I froze.

There, on the screen, was a figure dressed entirely in black. Whoever it was, they were careful to keep their face hidden, wearing a mask.

I felt my heart drop as I watched them move slowly and cautiously, as if they knew exactly where the cameras were placed. It sent chills down my spine.

The figure moved around the house, rearranging furniture, shifting objects, and sometimes standing still as if observing the room.
