Here’s a heartwarming and hilarious glimpse into the quirky world of family:
A boy is writing a letter to his grandmother. His friend, curious, asks, “Who are you writing to?”
“My grandma,” the boy replies.
“Why are you writing so slowly?”
“She can’t read very fast!”
Classic! The love and logic of kids, right?
And then there’s this lady on an airplane, sitting next to a man and talking nonstop about her grandkids for two solid hours. She even whips out a photo album with pictures of all nine of them! After a while, she realizes she’s been dominating the whole conversation.
“Oh, I’m so sorry! I’ve been doing all the talking. I’m sure you have something to say. What do you think of my grandchildren?”
Talk about being proud!

One day, a little girl watches her mom do dishes and notices something different: a few strands of white hair among her mom’s brunette locks. Curious, she asks, “Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?”
Her mom, with a smile, replies, “Well, every time you do something wrong and make me cry or upset, one of my hairs turns white.”
The little girl thinks for a moment, then says, “Mom, how come ALL of Grandma’s hairs are white?”
And speaking of grandmas, here’s a funny story: A grandma is giving her grandson directions to her apartment.
“You come to the front door, I’m in apartment 301. There’s a big panel at the door. With your elbow, press button 301. I’ll buzz you in. Go inside, the elevator’s on the right. Push the third floor button with your elbow, get out, and I’m on the left. Hit my doorbell with your elbow. Got it?”
The grandson, a little confused, asks, “Grandma, that sounds easy, but why am I using my elbow?”
Grandma’s reply? “What? You’re coming empty-handed?”
And finally, a school bus driver stops to let little George out, and his grandmother is there, arms wide open to greet him. The driver, doing his job, asks, “Is this really your grandmother?”
“Yes, she visits every Christmas!”
“Great, and where does she stay the rest of the year?”
“At the airport!” George replies. “Whenever we feel like it, we go there and take her home.”
Talk about a family tradition!
Hope these stories gave you a good laugh! Family is full of surprises, laughter, and love.
