Here’s a story that might make you chuckle—and maybe even raise an eyebrow!
Lesson 1: The Unexpected Neighbor
A man was just about to step into the shower when his wife, freshly out of hers, hears the doorbell ring. In a rush, she wraps herself in a towel and hurries downstairs.
When she opens the door, standing there is none other than Bob, the next-door neighbor.
Before she can say a word, Bob jumps right in: “I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.”
After a brief pause, the wife decides to take him up on his offer, drops the towel, and stands there in front of Bob. A few moments later, Bob hands her the $800 and walks away.
She quickly wraps herself back up and heads back upstairs.
When she walks into the bathroom, her husband asks, “Who was at the door?”
“It was Bob, the neighbor,” she replies.
The husband, unfazed, says, “Great! Did he mention anything about the $800 he owes me?”
Moral of the story: Share important info on time—whether it’s about credit, risk, or your next-door neighbor’s surprise offers—and you’ll be able to handle things before they get out of hand!
