I Love My Children

But I know my children inside and out, just like I know the back of my hand, and I will always vouch for their actions.

One family issue that really tested my approach was when my kids wanted to pick their own vacation spot.

Instead of doing the typical family trip, which was strongly influenced by my husband’s family’s tradition of pursuing the medical field, I decided to let them follow their own passions.

My in-laws insisted that the firstborn should continue the family profession, but I refused to push my child into a path they didn’t want to follow.

They knew I loved them dearly, and when big life decisions came up, they knew they could always ask me for advice, knowing I would always have their back.

No matter how old they get, my children will always be my little angels. I love them more than words can express, and that love will never change.
