Who says dreams have expiration dates?

While shopping for my wedding dress, I brought my grandma along. She smiled the whole time, eyes glistening with tears.

Then she whispered, “Sweetheart, you look beautiful. I wish I had this moment when I was young… but I never had a wedding dress or a real wedding.”

I froze. I had no idea. She told me they were too poor to afford one, so she just wore her Sunday best and got married at city hall.

Right then, I knew what I had to do.

I took her hand and said, “Grandma, today, it’s your turn.”

She hesitated, but when she finally stepped into that beautiful gown, she glowed—like the happiest bride in the world.
