A man visits his 90-year-old grandfather, who lives in a secluded, rural area. After spending the night, Grandpa makes him breakfast—eggs and bacon.
As he digs in, the man notices a strange film on his plate. “Grandpa, are these plates clean?” he asks.
Grandpa replies, “Those plates are as clean as cold water can get ‘em. Now go on and eat your meal!”
Later, when Grandpa serves up some homemade hamburgers for lunch, the man spots some specks around the edges of his plate, looking like dried egg yolks. “Are you sure these plates are clean?” he asks again.
Without missing a beat, Grandpa says, “I told you before—those dishes are as clean as cold water can get ‘em. Now stop asking me about it!”
That evening, as the man is heading out to town for dinner, Grandpa’s dog starts growling and blocks the way. “Grandpa, your dog won’t let me pass,” the man says.
Without taking his eyes off the TV, Grandpa shouts, “Cold Water, go lay down!”

Little Brandon and his family are having Sunday dinner at Grandma’s house. As the food is being served, Brandon immediately starts eating.
“Brandon! Please wait until we say our prayer!” his mom says.
“I don’t need to,” Brandon replies confidently.
“Of course, you do!” his mom insists. “We always pray before eating at our house.”
Brandon looks up and says, “That’s at OUR house. But this is Grandma’s house, and she knows how to cook!”
