A boss tells his secretary, “We’re traveling abroad for the week, so make the arrangements.”
The secretary quickly calls her husband: “My boss and I are heading out of town for a few days.”
The husband, feeling a bit mischievous, calls his secret lover: “My wife’s away for the weekend. Come over and let’s enjoy some time together.”

The secret lover, looking forward to some peace and quiet, calls the child she’s teaching: “I won’t be home this week, so no lessons for you.”
The child, disappointed but excited about a change in plans, calls his grandpa: “Grandpa, my teacher’s not around, so I’ll be spending the weekend with you!”
The grandpa, pleased by the news, calls his secretary: “My grandson is coming to spend the weekend with me, so we’re not traveling after all.”
The secretary, confused by the change, calls her husband: “My boss said his grandson is visiting, so our trip is canceled.”
The husband, now irritated, calls his secret lover: “Looks like we can’t spend the week together. My wife’s trip is off.”
The secret lover, adjusting plans, calls the little boy: “Good news! We’re still having lessons as usual this week.”
The little boy, a bit puzzled, calls his grandpa: “Grandpa, sorry! I won’t be able to visit. My teacher said I have to come to class this week.”
Grandpa, frustrated by the back-and-forth, calls his secretary: “Change of plans! My grandson’s not coming after all, so we’re going ahead with the trip. Make arrangements!”
And so, in one big circle, the trip is back on. But only if everyone keeps track of all the calls!
